Hello! Welcome to our office! My name is Erika. I began my dental career 19 years ago as an expanded functions dental assistant. I joined Allatoona Family Dental in 2013 after the birth of our first child.
As our Office Manager, I oversee all aspects of our practice, allowing our team to focus on what’s important: our patients’ care and smiles.
My husband Dusty and I have been married since 2010. We have one beautiful daughter, Hadley, who was born in June 2013. When not at work we enjoy spending our extra time outdoors camping, attending concerts, and traveling.

Hi. My name is Tracey. I was born and raised in Dallas, GA where I still live with my husband Rudy. We have one cat Abby who we voluntarily adopted and others who came and just decided to stay. Being an animal lover, I'm good with it.
After graduating from Medix School's dental assisting program in 1992, my career started as an assistant. I moved to the business side of dentistry several years ago. My interest in dentistry stems from my own personal experience. When I was a child I had an accident on my bicycle. The journey that followed has given me a unique perspective and empathy for others who may be on their own journey.
I enjoy watching the Braves, Falcons, Bulldogs and the Jackets. I hope to be able to see a game at all 30 MLB parks but I've got a long way to go. I like cooking, traveling, reading mysteries and watching movies. Give me a classic film noir or anything by Alfred Hitchcock and I'm happy.

Hi, I’m Shelby, the Treatment Coordinator here with over 5 years of dental experience. I really enjoy getting to know patients and helping make everything feel easy and stress-free—from treatment options to insurance and everything in between. I try to keep things simple and make sure you always feel comfortable and taken care of.
Outside of work, I’m a mom to my amazing 5-year-old son, Nicky, who keeps me busy in the best way. Most of my "free" time is spent at the baseball field cheering him on. When I’m not there, I’m enjoy going to the gym, church on Sundays, and hanging out with friends and family.
OH-- & as always, Go Dawgs 🐾

Greetings! I was born and raised in Rome, GA where I currently live with my wife, Heather, and my daughter, Kaylyn. I enjoy spending time with family and working with my hands when I’m not with them; either drawing, painting, or doing several other hands-on projects. I am a two-times graduate of Georgia Highlands College for Dental Hygiene and Studio Fine Arts.
I have served on the Georgia Highlands College Dental Hygiene Advisory Committee since 2016 where I advise dental hygiene students and offer insight about anything from newer technology to new procedures and techniques to the Director of Dental Hygiene and other dental staff in the surrounding communities. I am also involved with the state and federal accreditation of the program.
I’m passionate about the field of dentistry and I enjoy the feeling of helping people with their smile, health, and overall well-being. I feel like I’m part of a great team here and feel very blessed to assist with your dental needs!

Hi my name is Madel. I graduated from MCG in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. I was born in Baton Rouge, LA (Geaux Tigahs) and planted myself in Georgia in 1987.
I currently live in Cartersville and have 2 grown children, Jordan and Julia. Also, can’t forget my beloved furry son Clarence and my grand-cat Luna. When not focusing on work, I love being with my family and friends, watching college football, and being at the lake or beach. What I love about my job is helping patients feel comfortable while achieving their optimal dental health. My goal is to have each of my patients leave smiling. I feel blessed to be a part of this great team.

Hello! My name is Shae. I was born in sunny Florida and raised in Kennesaw, Georgia. I attended Jacksonville state University from 2018-2020 and graduated from Dental Careers Institute top of my class. My dad is Dr. Fitzgerald of this practice, so I’ve always grown up around the dental world. I love being able to help my patients achieve their dental goals and make them feel at ease while doing so.
In my free time I like to hang out by the lake, go on hikes, and travel to new places. I also enjoy listening to music and going to concerts any chance I get.
